The Frankster: Ang Mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan

Random thoughts with Marlon Guanzon.

Ang Mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan (Mama Susan's Friends) by Bob Ong

Ang Mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan is a horror/suspense novel written by Bob Ong (a famous anonymous writer in the Philippines). It is a book worth buying...that is, if you understand Tagalog. (Of course, if you were an average Filipino, why will you buy something like a German book?)

The story focuses on a young man named, Gilberto P. Manansala (also called Galo), a college student from a university in Manila, and his journal. He writes this journal for his college teacher since his teacher misplaced his first journal. His entries include: his everyday life, his heartbreak, his own raps, guitar chords..and his nightmares and mysterious encounters with horror.

Galo then received messages telling him to go back to the province to visit his ill grandmother, named Susan. after some doubts of not going, he then made up his mind and just went. **THIS IS THE PART WHERE ONE MYSTERY AFTER ANOTHER SEEMS TO UNVEIL**...which is why I'm gonna cut the story in this part!

Reasons why i stopped at this part:
-Because this is the part that really makes you go "WEW"
-This is the "GOOD PART"
-And, yeah, I stopped because I'm lazy to tell you the whole story
-but of course, let's not forget that this is just a blog...and a blog doesn't tell the story of a book...it makes you want to try that certain thing!

Anyways...you can buy it on bookstores, particularly in the Philippines, because like what i said, "Why will there a Filipino Book in a German Bookstore?"

"Now, can you feel the tight hug of a friend?"
-Last words from the book (translated poorly into English).
